Boa Noite!
Escrevo diretamente de Punta del
Este, Uruguai, um dos dez balneários de luxo mais famosos do Mundo!!
Chegamos aqui na ontem à noite, uma
longa viagem de Porto Alegre até aqui. 16 novos estudantes entraram na viagem,
e estão muito animados para essa parte final!!
Hoje tivemos manhã livre para
curtir o sol na Praia de Los Ingleses (1 quarteirão de distância do nosso hotel)
e também curtir a piscina PERFEITA que tem aqui (uma inclusive de agua quente)!
À tarde, visitamos a península, o
porto, La Barra
(com suas pontes ondulantes), Beverly Hills (com suas mansões de tirar o fôlego)
e no final da tarde fomos para Punta Ballena, onde visitamos a charmosa Casapueblo.
O lugar é de uma beleza e uma energia inexplicável!! A linda e famosa cerimônia
do Pôr do Sol escutando um poema gravado por Carlos Paez Villaró emocionou a
todos! Tivemos ainda no final a oportunidade de encontrar o
idealizador de tudo isso, o próprio Carlos Villaró!! Todos ficaram encantados com ele e ainda conseguiram tirar fotos!
Em seguida jantamos e logo após fomos visitar o tradicional Cassino Conrad:
é realmente enorme!
Amanhã cedo partimos para
Montevidéu, capital e maior cidade do Uruguai! De lá, escrevo contando as
novidades!

Good Evening!
Today I write from Punta del Este, Uruguai, that
is, undoubtedly, the most popular “seaside resorts area” in the
country and one of the 10th most luxury in the world!
We arrived here yesterday night, after many hours
of travel by bus from Porto Alegre
Today we had free morning to get to know Los
Ingleses beach (one block away from our hotel) and to have fun at our Hotel
perfect Swimming pool (one normal, another heated).
In the afternoon we began our activities at this
marvelous peninsula. We visited the the port, La Barra, Beverly Hills (with its
breathtaking mansions) and in the end of the afternoon we went to Punta
Ballena, where we visited the charming Casa Pueblo, a different and marvelous
house of a famous Uruguayan artist. There, we were blessed with the famous and
perfect sunset ceremony, listening to a poem blessing the “sun of every day”!!! We were fortunately able
to meet the man behind this whole idea: Carlos Paes Villaró. He was there
signing books and all the exchange students took pictures with him!
At night, after dinner we get to visit the traditional Casino Conrad: it is
really enormous!
Tomorrow early
we will leave to Montevideo , capital and biggest
city of Uruguay
